Designed, executed and hand painted by Gérald Genta in 1976 is a never before seen alternati⛄🐎ve design for the Patek Philippe Nautilus. The design is similar to the original however offered the use of a strap rather than an integrated bracelet.
Genta’s vision with this design was 30 years ahead of his time. Gérald Genta was always ahead of his time, creating many of the world’s first in horology, for example the first ever Grand Complication wristwatch. Patek Philippe did not introduce a Nautilus with leather strap, similar to this design until the year 2006 with the 5711 and 5712 examples made to celebrate th෴e 30 years anniversary.
